Lt. Colonel Michael Walker, Ret.

Lt Col Walker, Ret. is Founder and Managing Director at TW Capital Group. He also served as Vice Chairman of The PCT Companies, a family of professional services firms and the nation’s only integrated provider of IP-based public policy, strategic management, legal, monetization, and analytics advisory services. Mr. Walker has over 20 years of experience in business operations management, strategic planning, organizational strategy, talent management and performance improvement in both commercial and government organizations. He has built new businesses, grown business units, directed organizational redesign efforts, designed transition management methodology and integration mechanisms.

Previously, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Ocean Tomo Federal Services, an IP consulting firm focused on servicing, valuing and monetizing government IP assets. During his tenure, Mr. Walker led the creation of an auction model for the government marketplace. This model was used to sell IP owned by NASA, the first ever sale of a U.S. government patent license through a public auction. Mr. Walker has twenty years of experience and expertise in the field of science and technology and is a former United States Air Force decorated combat pilot who was also selected by NASA to fly pathfinder missions for the Space Shuttles.

Prior to Ocean Tomo Federal Services, he was a founding member of Falconhill Partners, LLC, a fully integrated private real estate investment and development firm, which was selected along with its strategic partner, Crescent Resources, as developers for the Armed Forces Retirement Home Project, a multi-billion dollar, 77-acre, 4.5 million square foot, mixed-use project located in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Walker earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy.
